HVCFI TALK FOCUSES ON HOT SOLAR TECHNOLOGY TRENDS
Prism Solar CEO to Showcase Next Generation Solar Technology

LAKE KATRINE, N.Y. (February 21, 2008) Rick Lewandowski, president and CEO of Prism Solar Technologies, Inc. will discuss emerging trends in solar energy technology at the Hudson Valley Center for Innovation on Wednesday February 27.

Lewandowski will speak at HVCFI'S monthly Entrepreneurs' Breakfast Series from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. 703 Grant Avenue. A $10 donation is suggested. RSVP at: specialevents@hvcfi.com or call 845-943-5660.

"This is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs, business owners and those interested in alternative energy to learn about solar technology and the growth Prism Solar Technologies, Inc. expects to see in the next 12 to 18 months," said Lewandowski.

Prism's new type of photovoltaic module uses transparent holographic optical elements in its design. This innovative, patented holographic technology, collects and spectrally selects useful wavelengths from the sun and focuses them onto the cell to create electricity.

Prism’s core technology also allows passive tracking, which can achieve higher output in the morning and late afternoon while reducing the amount of expensive silicon necessary in a module. Prism PV modules minimize the use of expensive solar cells in their modules but still maintain above average output.

"Prism is a shining example of an emerging technology company that will bring quality jobs to Ulster County. It is great to have an industry leading company growing at the Hudson Valley Center for Innovation," said Les Neumann, managing director of the Hudson Valley Center for Innovation.

Prism Solar Technologies, Inc. maintains a research and development facility in Tuscon, Arizona. The company can be found on the Web at: www.prismsolar.com
